shaped during a month-long residency in bali, a time of deep creative exploration guided by the island’s rhythm and beauty.
‘taksu’ is a Balinese word for sacred creative presence — a quiet force that lives in people, places, and objects.
 

each vessel is wheel-thrown using stoneware clay, then glazed with materials developed locally at mahteh ceramic studio and fired in a gas kiln. the glaze & clay respond to the gas kiln firing process, creating unique shades and colors.
